Lyra needs access to your calendar so it can:

  • See your upcoming meetings

  • Add a Lyra meeting link to each event you own

  • Make it easy for you and your guests to join the right space

When you connect your calendar and turn on sync, Lyra will automatically add unique Lyra links to your upcoming meetings with invitees.

Keep in mind that once added, these links can only be removed by manually editing each event in Google Calendar, so make sure you’ve read this guide before turning on sync.

If You’re New to Lyra

When you sign up, you’ll be asked to connect your Google Calendar during onboarding.

  1. Select the Google account you want to connect to Lyra

  2. Allow the requested permissions

  3. Continue through onboarding

Once complete, your meetings will automatically appear in Lyra.

If You Already Have a Lyra Account

You can connect or update your calendar at any time.

  1. Go to Calendar Settings from your Spaces page

  2. Click Connect Google Calendar

  3. Choose your Google account and allow permissions

If your calendar is connected successfully, you’ll see it listed under settings. From there, you can choose which calendars Lyra should sync.

Troubleshooting

If you see a message that your calendar isn’t connected, follow the steps above to finish setup.

Make sure to allow all requested permissions - otherwise, Lyra won’t be able to create meeting links.

If you’re still having trouble, contact support through your Lyra dashboard.
